I would most likely submit my paper to the Berkeley Undergraduate Journal.
http://learning.berkeley.edu/buj/submission.html This is because this journal in particular has to deal with the humanities. My Researched Argument Essay shall argue points that deal with historical events, which is subset of the humanities. My sources I will use in this essay shall include: A book, The Fools of '49, by Laurence Seidman, Gold Mountain Guests: Chinese Migration to the United States, 1848-1882, a JSTOR article by Townsend Walker, The Chinese-American Experience, a book by Dana Ying-Hui Wu and Jeffrey Dao-Sheng Tung, and I will also the JSTOR article, Chinese Sojourn Labor and the American Transcontinental Railroad, by Scott Carson. The Fools of '49 discusses the failures of people who emigrated to the USA during the Gold Rush. Gold Mountain Guests discusses the challenges Chinese immigrants faced when immigrating to the USA. The Chinese American Experience discusses the treatment Chinese American immigrants faced in the USA. Chinese Sojourn Labor and the American Transcontinental Railroad discusses the intensions of Chinese Americans to leave and return to China.
